Inspired by travel, hospitality and family gatherings, Chef Ryan Donaldson opens Gather with the goal of creating a menu inspired by international food cultures using Northwest seasonal ingredients in a warm setting that evokes feelings of comfort and home. Indulge yourself with family and friends while you create new memories and share in old ones. To enhance your experience we have crafted a list of cocktails made with scratch bases, a selection of local craft ales and food friendly wines. We have a little of something for everyone and our staff is here to help you craft your experience.

We set aside a number of tables for walk-ins; call ahead to put your name in or stop by in person. Either way you can check your place in line on our app and receive text message updates when your table is ready.




Ryan Donaldson: Chef/Owner

I first realized my passion for food when I was young. Some of my earliest memories are of food: feasting on Swedish pancakes at my great-grandparents', eating crab fresh off the boat, and gathering in the kitchen during the holidays as we cooked dinner. Then we'd sit down to share our lives with friends and family.

As I began to cook I realized early that it is not only about the food, but about the gathering as well. Dining is meant to be an experience. It requires, and should heighten, all of your senses. It is the food, the drink, the service, the atmosphere, and the people that when it all comes together flawlessly becomes something memorable. That experience is what we strive to provide when you dine with us.

Tahlia Bolden: beverage Director

Native to Shaker Heights, Ohio, Tahlia Moved to Seattle in 2010 to become a part of and learn from the stellar wine community.

Tahlia has worked with some of the finest sommeliers, restaurants, and chefs in the city: Seastar, Heavy Restaurant Group, as well as running the beverage program for Hitchcock Restaurant and their restaurant group.

Tahlia is an Advanced Sommelier via the Court of Master Sommeliers and enjoys the pursuit of wine studies.

Tahlia is a volunteer for Bellevue LifeSpring, International Pinot Noir Celebration as a sommelier, Salud to raise money for vineyard workers, and Washington Wine Auction.

In her free time Tahlia can be found preparing food for friends and family, playing the violin and adding more stamps to her passport.

Thomas O'Donnell:  Sous Chef

Thomas joined our team after spending the last few years with Maria Hines as Sous Chef at Agrodolce. Thomas brings a genuine passion for food and hospitality, and has taken to crafting our Garden Manger kitchen.

In his spare time you can find Thomas outdoors hiking and foraging the mountains.
